- Front camera dead but rear fine — on many phones the front camera shares a flex cable with other sensors, so this can point at a wider fault.
Lens cover versus camera module
This distinction saves people real money. If the small glass cover over the camera is cracked but the module behind it is intact, replacing just the cover is a fraction of the cost of a new camera. We check which one you actually need before quoting — we do not sell you a module for a lens problem.
Software first
